iLife '04 delayedBobby Sussman received a letter from Apple recently stating: "Dear Valued Apple Customer, We appreciate your recent Apple Store Order

"Due to an unexpected supply delay, we are unable to ship the following item(s) by the date that you were originally quoted: M9366Z/A, ILIFE UP-TO-DATE FULFILLMENT KIT-INT will now ship on or before 01/21/2004

"Please note that product availability can change rapidly, and it is possible that your order may ship much sooner than we anticipate. You may even receive a shipment confirmation between the time we send this email and the time that you read it."

We are not yet sure whether this problem is due to some last minute updates or simply (as indicated) a lack of supply.

UPDATE: Several users have already received their iLife order, or been informed by their delivery service that the package has been shipped. Nick Toth writes "I ordered iLife on Wednesday January 14th and it is on the truck for delivery via UPS at 10:59 AM ET on Friday January 16."

Safari and TaxCut MacFixIt reader H.T. Groff reports an unconfirmed conflict between Safari and TaxCut: "Yesterday, I tried 3 times to download TaxCut with Safari 1.1.1, Mac OS 10.3.2, and each time I got a 'Bad Error' error message when I tried to complete the Shopping Cart transaction.  I then tried it in Internet Explorer and didn't have any problems at all."
