NYT Extends Agreement With AOL

The New York Times has extended its contract with America Online to offer its @Times news and information service with new features.

The New York Times has agreed to offer its @Times news and information to AOL for another year. The news organization has been affiliated with AOL since December 1993.

The New York Times re-designed @Times and has added a separate Page One section which is updated each night with articles for the next day.

@Times also includes an Arts & Entertainment Guide and a Classified Ads section that can be searched by key word, according to AOL officials. "Auditoriums" allow users to interact with writers from the Times and personalities from politics, science, and the arts.
