Nvidia posted updated 3D card drivers this morning that it says will address an issue with fan speed regulation introduced with a previous software version. You can read Nvidia's official response here, which includes links to the updated ForceWare 197.13 software.

The fix comes in the wake of Nvidia's recall of its ForceWare 196.75 drivers two weeks ago, which some users reported caused their 3D card fans to shut down, exposing the cards to overheating risk.
