Northern Light partners with Yahoo

Northern Light Technology, which provides customers with a search engine comprised of business information, said it has inked a deal to provide content and search services to customers of the Corporate Yahoo Enterprise Information Portal. Under the deal, Cambridge, Mass.-based Northern Light said it will provide access to its online library of more than 7,000 full-text sources. Some of the information stems from trade journals, newspapers, medical publications, academic journals and newswires. Corporate Yahoo is a portal based on the My Yahoo interface, in which enterprise customers license the portal to gain access to corporate content and applications. Northern Light, which began several years ago, said it has a search engine that contains 60 million pages of business information that is not generally available on the Web.
