Nortel to wire Club Med resorts

Nortel Networks said Wednesday it will be the exclusive supplier of telecommunications equipment to vacation resort company Club Med as part of a seven-year outsourcing agreement. Under the contract, Club Med's voice and data systems will be upgraded and expanded at international resorts from West Africa to Polynesia. Nortel will also provide call routing equipment to the company's call centers, located in the United States and Australia. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
