Nokia releases new N-series phones

Nokia releases new N-series phones

Asserting its presence in the international market, Nokia announced three new multimedia cell phones from its N-series smart-phone line this week. First, there's the N72, featuring an MP3 player; a 2-megapixel camera with flash; a Web browser; and an FM radio. The N72 also comes with dedicated camera and music-player buttons and will be offered in pink, as well as black. Next up is the N93, a camera phone with a capital C. It features a whopping 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, complete with a large 2.4-inch display and autofocus; plus, it even features support for uploading your photos to photo-sharing sites such as Flickr. Finally, there's the N93, a multimedia computer of a cell phone, complete with 3.2-megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom and a camcorder that captures MPEG-4 video at 30 frames per second. It even comes packaged with Adobe Premiere Elements 2 for video editing.

All three phones will debut sometime this year in international markets, though we have yet to hear word if they'll be offered in the United States.
