Nokia E65: It's all in the slide

Business phones don't have to look boring -- the Nokia E65 is a serious slider phone that packs Wi-Fi and 3G, and lets you make VoIP calls

It seems like the O2 Xda Graphite isn't the only new business phone on the block. Behold the Nokia E65 (pictured), a slim slider phone that packs 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.

We've been lucky enough to get one in and have had a quick play with it. So far we really like how slim it is, considering how many features are crammed inside. The slide mechanism is also really smooth and the keypad is easy to press.

Similar to Nokia's other sliding smart phone, the N80, this handset runs on the S60 3rd Edition platform, which supports a variety of cool software, including maps and dictionaries.

Other features available on the E65 include support for VoIP software, a 2-megapixel camera, Web browser, an MP3 player, a video player, an email client that supports POP/IMAP, SMTP and IMAP4 protocols, and an expandable microSD slot.

The E65 is available for free on a monthly contract or for about £315 SIM-free. Expect a full review soon. -AL
