Is the Nokia Atlas Verizon's next WP8 device? evleaks

If you're a Windows Phone 8 fan on Verizon, listen up. A leaked image of what reportedly is a Verizon-branded Nokia Lumia 820 has surfaced.

Called the Atlas, the device appears to be a Nokia Lumia device and is clearly running Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 8 software. The source of the picture is the Twitter account of tipster evleaks and has since been picked up by numerous tech sites including The Verge.

If legit, the Nokia Atlas is likely Verizon's flavor of the Nokia Lumia 820, which is the midrange phone under the Finnish company's Windows Phone 8 flagship, the Lumia 920. T-Mobile recently confirmed it plans to sell a version of the Lumia 820 too, renamed the Lumia 810. I'm sure this isn't the last WP8 rumor we'll see since the Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 launch is right around the corner, officially set for October 29, in San Francisco.
