Nokia 5800 Xpress Music clears FCC

Crave gives you the details on recent cell phone filings with the FCC.

The Nokia 5800 looks more than promising. Corinne Schulze/CBS Interactive

Last week we got a first look at the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and this week we were pleased to see it clear the Federal Communications Commission's certification process. But the 5800 wasn't the only notable handset to pass through the hands of the Feds in the last few days. We also saw the Samsung SGH-T929, an 8-megapixel camera phone for T-Mobile, and the long-delayed Garmin Nuvifone. Because the FCC has to certify every phone sold in the United States, not to mention test its digital SAR rating, the agency's online database offers a lot of sneak peeks to those who dig. And to save you the trouble, Crave has combed through the database for you. Here are a selection of filings from the past week on new and upcoming cell phones. Click through to read the full report.
