Nikon has launched its My Picturetown iPhone application for uploading and sharing photos through Nikon's my Picturetown site. It works with both the iPhone and the iPod Touch, and is available for free through the App Store.

The My Picturetown app allows photos to be uploaded via iPhone camera and provides access to users' My Picturetown online storage sites. It also gives you the ability to tag and organize photos and create albums.

Through My Picturetown, you can e-mail photos, link photos to blogs and social-networking sites, and publish to Flickr. Each user gets 2GB of free storage on the My Picturetown online service, and up to 200GB can be purchased through a My Picturetown Gold account. For more details, check out Nikon's My Picturetown Web site.
