Nikon on Wednesday announced three new models in its Coolpix line of digital cameras. The Coolpix 2000 is an entry-level model with resolution of 2 megapixels, a 3x zoom lens, and simplified user controls.
The Coolpix 4500 is intended for serious hobbyists, with resolution of 4 megapixels, a 4x zoom lens, and a swiveling body design. The Coolpix 5700 is a professional-level camera with resolution of 5 megapixels, an 8x zoom lens, and an electronic viewfinder for easier focusing. All of the cameras will be available in July, at prices to be announced.
