New TV browser to launch in hotels

Interactive entertainment provider On Command and software maker Espial have teamed to enable travelers to surf the Web from their hotel rooms. The companies said they will launch a Web browser this month in more than 240,000 hotel rooms to provide hotel guests with access to Internet services via a TV set. On Command said it provides services to more than 250 million guests in about 3,450 hotels, including Fairmont, Hyatt, Marriott and Radisson hotels.
