How much can 30 minutes add? First peek at 'Batman v Superman' extended cut

The film's theatrical release wasn't a hit among critics -- can an extra 30 minutes turn everything around?

When "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was released back in March, it wasn't received quite as warmly as Warner Bros. would have liked.

Now, the company is ready for round two. On Thursday, the trailer for the film's "Ulimate Edition" home entertainment release was posted to YouTube, giving viewers a glimpse of some of the scenes deleted from "BvS". This cut includes a character played by Jena Malone ("The Hunger Games"), who was ripped entirely from the theatrical version.

The extended edition, which includes around 30 minutes of extra footage, is pegged for release digitally on June 28 and Blu-ray on July 19.
