Finally, you'll be able to micromanage digital lives on the go. The Sims Mobile is coming to iOS and Android.

In a reveal trailer released by publisher Electronic Arts today, all of the concepts familiar to Sims fans make an appearance. Creating Sims, furnishing their homes, helping them fulfill (or fail to achieve) their dreams, fostering relationships -- it's all there.

"When your Sims accomplish their career goals and retire, you'll be rewarded with Heirlooms that unlock hobbies and careers for future generations, allowing new Sims to tell deeper stories," EA promises.

Two previous games, The Sims Freeplay and The Sims Social, were released on mobile devices and Facebook respectively, but The Sims Mobile looks to be the closest approximation on phones yet of the Sims experience players have adored for 17 (!) years.

EA has yet to offer specifics on the game's release date, but says it will be coming soon.
