New Palm Eos discovered running webOS

Looks like the Pre isn't the only phone Palm's been working on. A new model has just emerged running Palm's new operating system

Looks like the Pre isn't the only tellingbone Palm will be releasing this year. A very BlackBerry-like new model sprung up overnight on the 'tubes, running the Pre's webOS, and Engadget snagged a very official-looking photo and a detailed spec list.

It's apparently called the Palm Eos -- a 3G smartphone with a 320x400-pixel capacitive touchscreen, a 2-megapixel camera, GPS, stereo Bluetooth and four gigs of internal memory,

There's no word though on a) whether it's real, b) whether it's coming to the UK or c) why it's got the same name as Canon's SLR camera range.

Until we get official word from Palm about the authenticity of the phone, go and read about the Palm Pre. For one thing, it's real. And for another, it beats reading about sodding diseased pigs.
