Belkin to disable router "ad redirection" Belkin has announced that they will be disabling a controversial behavior in their routers via an upcoming firmware update. In order to promote the "parental control" features in their routers, every eight hours random HTTP requests were redirected to a page on Belkin's website advertising those features. More.
