Mac OS X 10.3.2 Server reports eWeek is reporting that Apple is handing out version 10.3.2 of its server OS to developers. "Apple Computer Inc. is readying a minor update to Mac OS X Server that will deliver a grab bag of system enhancements and bug fixes, sources said. The Mac maker last week provided developers with a pre-release seed of Version 10.3.2, an update to the server counterpart of Apple's 'Panther' OS." More.

Your next (fuel-cell?) battery A Boston Globe article reports that scientists are scrambling to perfect the fuel cell as a methanol-powered source for energy-hungry laptops and other portable devices. "Charles Lindbergh crossed the Atlantic nonstop in 1927. There's hardly a laptop computer in the world that could match that record. Most go dark after four hours or so, forcing the user to carry along heavy spare batteries or resign himself to a few idle hours." More.
