Netscape launches sales initiative

The Netscape Solution Expert Program aims to provide resellers, consultants, and system integrators with more technical training and support.

Netscape Communications (NSCP) announced today it is bolstering its efforts to sell its Internet server and client products to the enterprise.

The Netscape Solution Expert Program is an initiative aimed at providing resellers, consultants, and system integrators with more technical training and support. By working more closely with the distributors of its software, Netscape hopes it can become more effective at convincing companies to buy its intranet and extranet software.

The Expert Program will give participants access to Netscape SuiteSpot software, the company's developer program, sales leads, and a variety of self-paced and classroom training seminars. Participants will also receive a weekly partners mailing list.
