NetLine keeps count
Internet Profiles will preview new reports from its I/Count Web site measurement and analysis service.
NetLine 1.0, described as I/Pro's new "platform" for reporting, simplifies the formatting of data, creating reports, and exchanging information within a client organization.
"Online marketers want to have instant access to their site's usage at their fingertips to constantly monitor the effectiveness of their Web sites," Stephen Klein, I/Pro's vice president of marketing, said in a statement.
The new interface reflects a shift in who uses I/Pro's data. A year ago, Webmasters of sites using the company's tracking service, I/Count, were the main audience. Today, as Web usage has evolved, marketing people are more heavily involved in analyzing usage data, an I/Pro spokeswoman said.
NetLine is designed to address customer complaints that I/Pro's data was hard to use. The new interface allows information to be exported to Excel spreadsheets, shared by email, and viewed offline.
Pricing begins at $1,000 and varies based on traffic and number of servers, with a $1,500 start-up fee. NetLine system will be available by year's end, and I/Count reports will continue to be available in the older format.
