Nero releases update to Nero 7 suite

Yesterday, Nero released a downloadable software update for users of its Nero 7 digital content management suite. The update includes support for Blu-ray data recording via Nero Burning ROM and Nero Express and new suites and upgrades to existing ones. The new Nero Search lets users search for content either on their PCs or on the Internet. Nero Home gains an electronic program guide and slide-show enhancement tools, such as customizable transitions, the ability to match audio to the slide-show length, and the ability to export a slide show with sound to an MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 movie. Nero Vision now automatically generates animated 3D menus and also has a fit-to-disc features that compares the length of your video files to remaining disc space and records at highest bit rate that will still allow your files to fit. Users can download the update , and existing customers get the update for free.
