It's been available on other platforms for a while, but the NASA app on Tuesday launched on Apple TV. The free app was already available on iPhone, iPad, Android and Amazon's Fire OS, and has been downloaded 17 million times across all platforms.
The move to Apple's media streaming box means that getting those spectacular space vistas on a big screen is even easier.
In addition to streaming live and on-demand content from NASA, the app also lets you view photos from the space agency, keep tabs on its ongoing missions and listen to NASA's alternative rock radio station.
"The NASA app has been a fantastic way for the public to experience the excitement of space exploration from their mobile devices," said David Weaver, NASA associate administrator for Communications in a statement.
