Name your price for six action-packed Warner Bros games, help charity

The new Humble Bundle ranks up there with the best of them, offering two Batman games, two F.E.A.R. games, and other good stuff.

I've seen some pretty good game bundles this year. There was the Telltale Games collection back in May, the six-game Origin bundle in August, and lots of sweet indie stuff along the way.

But this one may just top them all.

For a limited time, and assuming they have enough licenses to satisfy the Internet, the Humble WB Games Bundle gives you six action-packed PC games for whatever price you want to pay.

Well, sort of. Anything over a buck buys you the following:

  • Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited

For the record, those two alone would cost you $40 if you purchased separately on Steam. And if you beat the average purchase price (currently $4.62), you'll get four more games:

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition
  • F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
  • F.E.A.R. 3
  • Lord of the Rings: War in the North

Update: I got this backward! You get the four latter games with your minimum contribution of a pack. When you beat the average, you get the two additional games (Batman: Arkham City and Scribblenauts). My apologies for the goof.

The whole bundle has a combined value of around $125. More importantly, these are some really solid games. The two Batman titles alone were among the top-ranked action games in the years they came out, and these GOTY editions include lots of bonus content.

Scribblenauts Unlimited is great fun, an arcade puzzler that originated on the Nintendo DS. My kids love the iPad version; your kids will love it on the PC.

The F.E.A.R. titles will appeal to anyone who loves both first-person shooters and horror movies, while Lord of the Rings offers great MMORPG action.

Best of all, a portion of your purchase (you decide how much) goes to We Can Be Heroes, a charity working to combat starvation in the Horn of Africa.

All six games are delivered via Steam.

Even if you already own a couple of them, this is a great way to score some great entertainment on the cheap while helping a very worthy cause. Great gift item, too. I'm in!
