At this point it's looking more and more like, nor is what it will look like a mystery given a handful of leaks in recent days.
But if you're the type of person who wants more proof, App Advice has posted a slew of new shots of the gold variant, which is expected to join the silver and black models of Apple's next iPhone when it debuts next month.
Similar to other shots, this is only the back of the phone, and does not contain any of the other components -- just the SIM card tray, volume buttons, sleep/wake button, and mute switch. It's also missing the localized and unit-specific information, like model and IEMI number, that's laser-etched onto the back. Notable, however, is that there's room for the duel-LED flash, which is expected to double up on the single flash the iPhone's had since the iPhone 4.
The leak is the latest in a series ahead of next month's much-rumored iPhone event on September 10. So far, there have been several similar such shots of the rear part for this phone -- presumably to be called the 5S -- as well as colorful, plastic models expected to be headed to Apple's lower-cost iPhone 5C.
According to a recent report by The Wall Street Journal, both of those modelsin time for a launch next month. It is assumed that many of the leaks for both devices have come from Apple's various component suppliers, instead of at Foxconn, where the phones are reported to be assembled.
