Misting oil can be useful in just about every type of cooking: it keeps cookies from sticking to baking sheets, just as it adds flavor to salads. Using a mister means that you're getting less fat when you use oil, as well. But commercial spray oils aren't exactly friendly to the environment. A pump mister that you can refill can eliminate aerosol cans. The Table Top Mister allows you to pump any kind of oil you'd like to use, from olive oil to peanut. The mister has a no-clog filter that makes it easy to use. You can even add herbs and other flavorings to the oil in the mister (the filter makes sure that everything still works properly), allowing you to create salad dressings and other useful oils that you can apply to a dish with just a spritz.

The Table Top Mister is constructed from glass, polypropylene, and stainless steel. The components are easy to clean and can even go through the dishwasher. The cover of the mister is white glass, making it into an attractive addition to your counter or your table. It only measures about 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches by 6 inches, requiring a very small footprint wherever you place it. The Table Top Mister is $17.95.
