What does 10p buy you these days? Not much -- but today in the Android Market it could buy you a brand spanking new app. Minecraft, SoundHound and Fieldrunners are among the Android apps that could be yours for just ten of Her Majesty's English pence.

The discounted games included today are Minecraft, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, Great Little War Game and Fieldrunners HD. Cheap apps include SoundHound, SwiftKey X Keyboard, Endomondo Sports Tracker, SketchBook Mobile, Colour and Draw for Kids, and Paper Camera. At 10p each, that's 10 apps for just one pound.

The 10 for 10 offer is to celebrate a whopping 10 billion apps downloaded from the App Market. Over the course of 10 days, 10 apps are released every day, for 10 cents or 10 pence each. Get them all and it'll be 100 apps for £10. Bargainous! Check back tomorrow to see what treats are in store in the next batch.

Our favourites of today's apps are Minecraft, the digging game taking the world by storm, predictive typing app SwiftKey, and the fun photo-cartoonifying Paper Camera.

Apps are everywhere these days, but which is the best app store? We've compared the worlds of Android, Apple, Windows and BlackBerry apps so you don't have to.
