You already lose yourself in Minecraft, playing for hours on end. News today takes immersion in the hit open-ended game to a whole new level.
Mojang, the Microsoft-owned developer of the game, on Wednesday released a version of Minecraft for the Samsung Gear VR headset. It's now available to download at the Oculus Store for $6.99.
This is the first time Minecraft has been available for virtual-reality headsets. Another version of Minecraft for the actual Oculus Rift headset is under development, but hasn't been released yet.
"Now you can build, explore, battle mobs - and all your other favorite Minecraft activities - with the power of mobile virtual reality," Oculus said in a blog announcing the release.
