Microsoft's chilling, charming 'Walking Dead' ad

There is love. There is horror. And, yes, of course there's a MicroNokia Lumia phone at the end.

I find the rotting undead far more frightening to look at than a defensive lineman or a naked private part.

I may, therefore, have been one of the fourteen (Technically Incorrect estimate) people who missed the premiere of AMC's "The Walking Dead."

However, Microsoft decided not to miss the opportunity of heralding this show's return. So it presented an ad dedicated to its at-oneness with Zombiefication.

As with all fine movies of nastiness, everything here begins well.

There are packing boxes. There is a handsome man. There is human hope. This couple is enjoying love. Yes, undying love.

They have already been featured in previous Microsoft "Walking Dead" ads. But now they're making a commitment.

The man begins to finger his Windows tablet. It's a Lenovo Yoga. He's Skyping with his extremely alive lady friend.

And then it all becomes Fright Night. There is a MicroNokia Lumia camera featured near the end, but I would rather leave you cliffhanging.

Will the couple survive? Or will at least one of them be cast to the limbo from which no one comes or goes?

Yes, Facebook.
