Microsoft Store is deleting your e-books this month
If you bought e-books through Microsoft, they'll vanish in early July and you'll get a refund. Say bye-bye to your in-book notes.
Time is running out for you to read e-books purchased from the Microsoft Store. Customers have until sometime in early July. Microsoft will then delete the e-books and issue full refunds, according to the company.
Microsoft didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on specifically when e-books will disappear.
The company announced the decision in early April and ended e-book purchases from the Microsoft Store.
Your in-book notes will disappear in early July too. If you made mark-ups in your books before April 2, you'll receive an additional $25 credit to your Microsoft account.
