Micron Electronics introduces a new line of corporate desktop computers starting at under $2,000, including monitor.

Micron Electronics (MUEI) today introduced a new line of corporate desktop computers starting at under $2,000, including monitor.

Models in the ClientPro2 series will feature a 180-MHz Pentium Pro processor, a 3Com 3C509 network interface card, and the Windows NT 4.0 operating system. Micron says the line will include built-in Desktop Management Interface support in the BIOS, which allows for remote network management.

According to Micron, a fully configured ClientPro2 will have a 180-MHz processor, 32MB of EDO memory, a 3.1GB hard drive, 2MB of S3 video RAM, a 17-inch color monitor and Microsoft Office Pro 95 for $2,599.
