Michigan to launch cybercourt

In an attempt to lure businesses to his state, Michigan Gov. John Engler has signed a bill creating a state cybercourt. Cases filed in the online court, which is expected to be up and running by October, are expected to involve commercial or business disputes where more than $25,000 is at stake. Such cases would be heard only by a judge, rather than before a jury.
