Matrox TripleHead2Go: Three-way monitor action

Fed up of using just one or two monitors? Increase your fun and productivity with this device that lets you connect three screens to one graphics card

Rory Reid

If one monitor just isn't enough, then you may want to take a look at the Matrox TripleHead2Go. This device lets you connect up to three monitors to your PC's graphics card simultaneously for a combined resolution of up to 3,840x1,024 pixels.

This gives you a ludicrously wide Windows desktop that's perfect for viewing multiple application windows simultaneously, or for ultra-widescreen gaming.

The TripleHead2Go is compatible with a heap of Windows graphics cards and Matrox says it'll work with around 150 popular games, including Quake 4, Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, Age of Empires III, GTR and Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight.

The TripleHead2Go looks pretty easy to install, too. It's a palm-sized box that doesn't require you to open your computer -- you just connect it to your graphics card's DVI or VGA outputs, then connect your screens, install the software and away you go.

It costs around £170. Check out the Matrox site for more information. -RR
