Macworld replacement gets new name

There will be a new version of the Macworld conference this summer, at least in name. IDG World Expo on Tuesday renamed the trade show it had dubbed "Create" the Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo.

The show, which is designed as a scaled-back event from the traditional Macworld Conference & Expo, remains aimed at those in the design, publishing, video and music industries. The event runs from July 14-18 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
