Macromedia unveils Web software

Macromedia has unveiled a new Web-based application for managing Web site production. Macromedia Sitespring is designed to improve collaboration, file management and communication with clients. Using the software, Web teams can work on designs using Web-based project management and make sure everyone is working on the correct version of a file. Sitespring is expected to ship in early fall, starting at $1,999. A public beta, or test, progam will be launched in July.
