Is your office full of empty brains just begging to be munched on by zombies? You're in luck.

Lyft has partnered with Skybound, the company behind The Walking Dead comics, to offer free on-demand zombies in New York City and San Francisco on Friday, the day before Halloween, letting users spook the pants off of friends, family, co-workers or pretty much anyone who comes across your new undead friend.

Between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time in each city, the Lyft app will let you slide over to a new zombie mode so you can request a live zombie at your location.

Your zombie will be brought to you by an experienced Lyft zombie handler (the only kind Lyft has, apparently), so all you have to do is lead your zombie to the target, and set it free to wreak havoc on -- and take selfies with -- the soon-to-be-undead.

Of course, the undead will be in high demand on Friday, so you'll probably want to act fast if you want to unleash a horde of the undead on your home or office.

Zombies are just the latest themed marketing stunt from Lyft. Most recently, the company offered free rides in a time-traveling DeLorean for Back to the Future Day on October 21.

If you aren't in New York or San Francisco and want to vicariously live out your zombie-infested dreams, you can follow the LyftZombieMode Twitter account or the #LyftZombieMode hashtag on Friday. We suggest sucking on a zombie-head lollipop while you do.
