Lucky Dell customers score $125 notebooks

Dell Computer has acknowledged that a technical problem resulted in inaccurate pricing for a notebook listed on its Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia Web sites. "For customers that we already accepted payment from, we will ship the units for the price charged," a company representative told Singapore.CNET.com on Thursday. The glitch apparently happened Sunday. It involved a Dell Inspiron 3800 C600ST notebook originally priced at about $1,411 (2,466 Singapore dollars) but listed for just $125. The representative declined to reveal the number of customers involved. CNET Singapore's Fran Foo reported from Singapore.
