I love vintage gear -- can't afford it, but like to look at the designs. And the catalog of products for an upcoming WestLicht Photographica Auction to celebrate its 15th anniversary has some stunning and historic items.
For instance, in addition to the watch-camera pictured above, there's a Leica Summicron 35mm f2 lens used by Henri Cartier-Bresson. There's also an Arsenal Kiev-S sent into space during the Soyuz program, a possibly unique Contax prototype and a Lumiere Cinematographe moving-pictures kit.
More modern offerings include a prototype of a version of the Leica M-A.
If you're budget is way bigger than mine but you can't make it to Germany for the live event on November 19, you can bid online.
