Lotus today announced that it is developing a messaging system that will let users link voice mail systems into its Notes groupware.

Called Integrated Messaging, the software will allow voice mail messages, faxes, pager alerts, and email to be integrated into a single Notes database. The software will work with both Notes and cc:Mail email systems.

Integrated Messaging, slated for shipment in August, is expected to cost $2,995 per Notes server, the company said.
