Linux Networx has named new executives to spearhead work with customers in Europe and with government customers, the company said on Wednesday. The Salt Lake City-based company specializes in linking low-end Linux servers into high-performance technical computing clusters.

Fabio Gallo, formerly of optical networking company BigBangwidth, has been hired as vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. David Norton, formerly a technical sales manager for cluster hardware specialist Quadrics, is now vice president of government markets.
