LifeHarbor opens arms to $5.8 million

LifeHarbor announced Wednesday it raised a $5.8 million first round of funding, led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Other investors include Hub Angel Investment Group and WR Hambrecht & Co. Cambridge, Mass.-based LifeHarbor develops wealth-management software. The company's Private Portfolio Manager software allows portfolio managers and administrators to customize, tax-manage and monitor thousands of individually managed accounts.
