LG C900 leaked running Windows Phone 7
The LG C900 is the latest phone to be spotted running the ever-growing, seven-legged octopus that is Windows Phone 7, and this time there's a Qwerty keyboard.
The LG C900, a Qwerty slider phone running Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7 operating system, has snuck out of the LG labs, Engadget reports. The trickle of phones running Windows Phone 7 has already begun with the Samsung Cetus SGH-i917, and we expect it to become a torrent as the OS gets closer to release this winter.
We've had our hands on a prototype LG phone running Windows Phone 7, code-named the LG Panther. While the Panther was a big beast, the LG C900 has a rounded body reminiscent of the LG InTouch Max GW620.
We don't know any details of the C900's features yet, but it's clear from a logo on the screen that it's bound for the AT&T network in the US, which means it would be compatible with UK networks too.
Microsoft has defined some pretty steep minimum requirements for phones running Windows Phone 7, so expect the C900 to have a capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and at least a 5-megapixel camera.
