Kragen Auto Parts has installed drop-off boxes where people can recycle rechargeable batteries from mobile phones, laptops, cameras, power tools, cordless phones or other electronic devices, the retailer said Tuesday.
The recycling program is run in conjunction with the nonprofit Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation. Other retailers offering the service include Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Office Depot, RadioShack, Sears and Target, the recycling organization said.
