Eastman Kodak and Sanyo demonstrated this week a prototype 15-inch display based on Kodak's organic light emitting diode (OLED) display technology. The two companies demonstrated the screen at a trade show in Japan. The color display has a resolution of 1,280 pixels by 720 pixels with a wide viewing angle.

The OLED display is the latest effort from SK Display, a joint venture between the two companies that was formed in December last year. SK Display will manufacture displays for consumer devices such as cameras, handhelds and portable entertainment machines.
