Kintera raises $8 million

Software maker Kintera said Tuesday that it has raised $8 million in venture funding, bringing its total amount raised to $27 million. The San Diego-based company declined to identify the investors or say how many rounds of financing it has undergone. Kintera makes applications designed to help nonprofit organizations create online marketing and Web site content, plan events and collect donations via the Web.
