Katy Perry has amassed 90 million followers on Twitter as of Friday, earning her the biggest army of fans of any account on the social media network.
Twitter broke the news with a special tweet congratulating the pop icon for achieving the milestone.
Fellow musicians Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift round out the top three most-followed Twitter accounts with roughly 83.8 million and 79 million followers, respectively.
Coincidentally, Katy Perry's Twitter account got hacked two months ago.
The culprit sent out several messages, including one telling Taylor Swift that Perry missed her, along with a series of insults.
Perry had just under 90 million followers at the time.
