Kanisa gets more than $30 million

Kanisa announced Tuesday that it received more than $30 million in its fifth round of funding, led by Meritech Capital Partners. Other investors included Ernst & Young, NIF Ventures, Sierra Ventures and Worldview Technology Partners. Cupertino, Calif.-based Kanisa provides software and services designed to help companies offer their customers online self help in getting their questions answered. The company has raised a total of $75.4 million.
