While it may not seem like it at first, a musical version of "Game of Thrones" isn't actually that bad of an idea.

Many viewers out there have watched the TV show "Game of Thrones," but you definitely haven't seen it like this. Coldplay rounded up some of your favorite "Game of Thrones" characters to give the hit fantasy series a pretty compelling musical retelling.

The band released a video to their YouTube channel on Thursday that shows how the band brought several "Game of Thrones" characters together to sing about the tales of Westeros and Essos in "Game of Thrones: The Musical." The musical was designed as part of NBC's Red Nose Day Live Benefit Show on Thursday, which raised money to combat poverty in the U.S. and around the world.

The video looks at how the musical came to be. It also has some pretty funny moments like when Ramsay Bolton and Theon Grayjoy, who Ramsay captured, tortured and turned into his slave on the show, were put in the same room and after a brief, tense moment, embraced and revealed that they're actually pretty chummy off-screen. Or when Robert Baratheon just seemed to want to get the heck out of the studio once he started listening to Coldplay sing the songs they dreamed up for the show.

Get ready to re-enter the worlds of Westeros and Essos in the video above, which is narrated by Liam Neeson, then watch full versions of some of the songs on Coldplay's YouTube channel.
