Looking to expand into the German market, JBoss said Thursday that it acquired Objectone, a systems integrator and JBoss partner based in Berlin, Germany.

Objectone's operations will serve as JBoss' German division with Objectone founder Tobias Hartwig serving as managing director of JBoss Deutschland. Objectone provides training and systems integration services for JBoss' Java middleware software. "In addition to local language training and support, as well as in-depth industry expertise, (customers) need the security of national law when it comes to contracts," Hartwig said in a statement.
