It's hard to beat (or whisk) a 6-quart stand mixer that's just $97

Most mixers under $100 are tiny 3-quart models. And this one comes with all the accessories.

A kitchen countertop stand mixer is an essential appliance in any home, but often expensive -- I spent over $300 on one in a fancy kitchen store a few years back. You can find mixers under $100, but they're usually small and underpowered, often equipped with a meager 3-quart bowl. The GEFT Stand Mixer is a full-size 6-quart model and usually costs $143. Right now you can stack two discounts to get the GEFT Stand Mixer for $97.26. Just clip the coupon on the product page and apply promo code BSEFHPRF at checkout.

As always, the standard disclaimers apply: This is while supplies last, and while the deal is supposed to run through May 23, the code and the coupon from Amazon seller flourishingUS could unexpectedly expire at any time.

The mixer is powered by a 600-watt motor and the simple controls give you six speeds to choose from, plus a pulse mode. It comes with a 6-quart locking bowl with optional plastic splash guard and three attachments: a standard beater, wire whisk and dough hook. The head tilts back to give you access to the contents of the bowl.

Of course, I wouldn't trade my KitchenAid mixer for this model from GEFT, but this mixer has some advantages; it's smaller and lighter, which is actually pretty important when you need to haul it out of a cabinet on a regular basis. And it's cheap enough that it makes a great gift. This is a practical present for a someone graduating from college this summer and striking out on their own. I mean, how else are they going to make bread and cookies during the next pandemic?
