Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) plans to use telematics software from Autodesk's mobile division in its upcoming offerings, Autodesk announced Tuesday. Autodesk is the fifth-largest software maker in the world.
The Italian carrier said by the end of this month it will be introducing Connect TIM, which will let people get traffic reports, information about nearby restaurants, or make hotel and airline reservations from their mobile phones.
