Inxight receives $22 million

Inxight Software announced Monday that it raised a $22 million fourth round of funding, led by VantagePoint Venture Partners. New investor Reed Elsevier and previous investors Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Deutsche Bank contributed to the round. Inxight also announced that representatives from VantagePoint and Dresdner will join the company's board. Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Inxight has raised a total of $50 million. The company develops software that allows corporations to organize, analyze and deliver information from e-mail, Microsoft Office and other nondatabase sources.
